What is the Business Insurance Innovation Awards program?

A recognition program highlighting innovation in risk management services.

How do I make a nomination?

Nominations must be submitted using our online submission form during the acceptance period March 1-April 21, 2023.

Can I enter multiple nominations?

One company can submit up to five (5) nominations.

Who can make a nomination?

Anyone familiar with the product, service or program being nominated.

When does the nomination process end?

The nomination deadline has been extended to Friday, April 21, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. EST. No nominations will be accepted after the deadline.

When will the winners be announced?

Winners will be notified and announced on BusinessInsurance.com in early June.

When will profiles of the winners be published?

In the special Insurtech edition of Business Insurance in September.

How will the nominees be judged?

An independent panel of risk management experts will review all the nominations.

What makes a good nomination?

The most successful nominations are the ones that provide a good narrative combined with data to support the assertions in the narrative. The judges want to know what makes the nominations innovative and they want to see the numbers and facts that prove they are successful.

Are the nominations confidential?

Yes. While BI reporters profiling the winners will see the nomination forms, details of the nominations will not be revealed unless they are confirmed in interviews with winners.

Will I be informed if my nomination is not selected for an award?

Due to the volume of nominations we receive, we do not contact unsuccessful applicants. However, the full list of honorees will be available at BusinessInsurance.com in early June.
